Welcome to Lep's Pub! Kick back, put up your feet, relax and enjoy your stay. But always remember, when you finally catch a leprechaun, he will give you what you ask for. It just might not be what you want.

Meet Hammy
Some of you my have already meet our friend. Hammy has been our neighbor since birth. We meet him back when he was nothing but an unbalanced tail. He was trying to snatch some powdered doughnuts off the porch during our garage sale a few years back. We chucked one to him and he didn't stop eating until he was finished, then he bobbed his head back up. The white goatee was comical. Hammy is pretty friendly and as long as you don't scare the little guy he'll come sit beside you and share a snack.

Summer Weekends
While Hippy sleeps soundly in bed, Rie and I have hit the road. We get up just after the sun, pack our lunch and load up the pull behind. Then we start out on our 18-24 mile expedition which Rie now leads with a map of the Greenway. There has been a lot to see for a town that people say has nothing to do. We have been 2 feet away from a cannon being fired. Watched rockets blasting into the air and disappearing into the clouds. Came upon a flag football tournament and had lunch with a hundred butterlies. This is just a few of sights. Next year I'm sure Rie will be on the trail with her new bike. That is if Santa thinks she been a good little girl.
The Green Thumb Gene
Early this spring Rie sowed her first seeds. With her Dad helping her with the spacing, Rie plopped down into the fresh dirt on her hands and knees. With shovel in hand she dug into the earth planted the seeds covered them up. She finished with a good drink for the seeds. She nearly gave up after a week of watering, until she became suprised by the sprouts poking out of the ground. Then the drought came, but Mom "helped" with the watering. By July the seeds had become bright sunflowers that were towering over the garage roof. By late August Rie was ready to harvest the "seeds" of her labor. So, here is Rie with her first monsterous sunflower!
